Lord Lonsdale Box Cup 2019
Amateur Boxers aged 10 to Senior Level to Box and compete in annual the Lord Lonsdale Box Cup.
The current Lord Lonsdale who lives in Towcett, Penrith, the Lake District has said go ahead and Box.
This annual event will be held over 3 days and will see Boxers from all over the UK and Europe enter into this to compete to become the Lord Lonsdale Box Cup champion in their chosen weight category, Champions will have to return the following year in April 2020 to Defend and win there category outright within a 7kg increase in weight difference from 2019
It doesn’t end there, coming back in 2020 to win the Lord Lonsdale Box Cup outright means a mandatory defence of this, again in May 2021, and so we continue with the UKs most spectacular BOX CUP event in history.
We will see boxers continuing to develop and flourish at this annual Box Cup event taking place Cumbria.
Teams will need to register individually on the entry page and if you are able to bring with them at least 1 official ( not Compulsory) who will be allocated to duties under the England Boxing rules at the event – there will be no charge for Any Judge or referee attending assisting the Box Cup team – fees will apply to coaches.
